What is Sacramento Paintings?

Sacramento Paintings is a Sacramento art store devoted to one city. Every painting shows a Sacramento landmark or a beloved local place, from Tower Bridge and the State Capitol to Old Sacramento, the riverfront, and neighborhood favorites like Gunther's Ice Cream and the Tower Theatre. The paintings are offered as made-to-order giclee and canvas prints.

Am I buying an original painting or a print?

You are buying a print of an original painting. Each work is painted by one of our five artists, and your chosen format is printed to order as a giclee on fine art paper or as a stretched canvas, framed if you choose a framed format.

Who are the artists?

Five Sacramento painters: Elana Barry, Daniel Hansen, Eric Chambers, Harold Benson, and Maya Coleman. Each has a distinct look, from bold saturated color to loose watercolor and flat matte shapes. Meet them on the Artists page.

What sizes and formats can I choose?

Every painting comes in 20 formats. Unframed giclee prints start at $49 for 12 by 16 inches, with oversize prints at 36 by 48 inches ($129) and 40 by 60 inches ($169). Framed giclee prints are $95 at 16 by 20 inches and $179 at 24 by 36 inches, in black, white, natural wood, or brown, with a white-border option at the same prices. Gallery box frames are $115 and $199, and a stretched canvas at 24 by 36 inches is $159.

How long will my order take?

Prints are made to order. Production usually takes 3 to 5 business days, and delivery typically arrives within 5 to 10 business days of ordering. We email tracking as soon as your print ships.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is a flat charge per order, set by the largest piece in it: $7.95 for a small unframed print, $9.95 for mid-size framed and box formats, and $14.95 for the largest framed, canvas, and oversize prints. We currently ship within the United States.

What if my print arrives damaged?

Tell us within 30 days of delivery and send a photo of the damage. We will reprint your piece or refund you, and in most cases you will not need to send the damaged print back.

Can I return a print if I change my mind?

Because every piece is made to order just for you, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns. If your print arrives damaged or flawed, the guarantee above always covers you.
